The Academy facility will include an art gallery with curated shows and art openings. Students will work with professional curators and events planners to develop these shows. All shows will be open to the general public during certain hours, and invitations to show openings will be sent to the mailing list of interested arts connoisseurs.

Likewise, a series of films and videos will be offered to the general public. These films will show biographies of famous dancers, full productions of ballets from throughout history, documentaries of works in progress and behind the scenes operations of ballet companies, and motion pictures that include ballet, arts school training, and performing arts drama.

There will also be a regular schedule of lectures by guest artists, citizens of Peekskill and others who have developed recognition for their work in the arts. This will also include authors of new publications, poets, dramatic readings, etc. All proceeds from tickets for these events will go toward the operational budget for the school and will be fully tax deductible.

To contribute to any of the current MFAB programs or future projects, send your contribution check with the specific program clearly indicated in the memo line. Otherwise, contributions will be accepted for general operating expenses. All contributions are fully tax-deductible.
