Opportunities for Seniors

Dame Margot Fonteyn often spoke of the tremendous amount senior citizens had to offer, and of the very special interaction between grandparents and grandchildren. She believed that the Swiss system of employing seniors as stage doormen, ticket takers, ushers, seamstresses, telephone operators, etc., was an excellent system as it provided much needed finances to the elders of our communities, and kept their wisdom flowing to the younger generations.

In keeping with this, the Margot Fonteyn Academy of Ballet will fill its ranks of employees with senior citizens first. If you would like to seek employment at the Academy, please give information below:

As jobs that might use your skills become available, we will contact you. Your information will be kept on a register of available seniors in our files.

To contribute to any of the current MFAB programs or future projects, send your contribution check with the specific program clearly indicated in the memo line. Otherwise, contributions will be accepted for general operating expenses. All contributions are fully tax-deductible.
